Yes on the Saturday guests may arrive earlier to access the event as it starts at 1pm.Room access will be available from the official check in time, but your bags can be dropped in the castle till your room is ready at around 2pm.
Direct services operate from Newcastle and Durham. Both are around 10 minutes away by train.

A short taxi journey is recommended. Walking takes approximately 30 minutes.
Lumley Castle is located just off the A1(M) at Junction 63.

On site parking is limited. Details and availability will be confirmed prior to the event.
Taxi availability is strong from Newcastle and Durham. Demand will be high at peak times, so pre booking is recommended.
1PM is show start time.Anyone with a room booked in the Castle should arrive just before 1pm to check in, for the hotels rooms to be ready around 2pm.

Dress to impress, its a boutique festival, but remember, the standing areas in front of the stages are the grass lawn areas.
Yes it is, both Lawns infront of the stages are on flat Lawns, the Castle has wheelchair access if booking a room.
